Technical Project Managers (TPMs) are outstanding software engineers or architects, who are driven to lead teams in defining and developing creative, industry leading software solutions. TPMs collaborate on the strategy and roadmap. They work with development teams to plan and deliver the capabilities identified in the product strategy and roadmap.
TPMs work with Platform Managers and Product Owners to escalate issues and resolve as appropriate. TPMs work through others to gain leverage to deliver solutions. TPMs have technical experience and deep understanding of all aspects of software design in order to get industry leading solutions to market efficiently and effectively.
•Manages integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product owners, technical project managers, architects, engineers and quality assurance
•Works within and across business units to prioritize, plan and execute the development schedule for major product releases
•Manages and tracks team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports
•Assigns development resources to activities and monitors performance across resource channels
•Maintains dependency plan between planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and third-parties
•Manages and escalates risks, issues and changes tied to the product development initiatives
•Applies judgment and discretion on when to raise issues versus work through issues with the team
•Resolves issues precluding engineers from making progress against sprints and deadlines
•Ensures deliverables across engineering teams are high quality, clearly documented, and compliant
•Conducts daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint, and ensures that the team is continuously learning from the past
•Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
•Embodies “Rebel with a cause”mentality by looking beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

This high energy Technical Project Manager must have:
•Technical project management experience
•A deep understanding of all aspects of software design with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
•Strong coding experience, ability to get into the code and drive to solutions
•Experience managingAgile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget and to spec
•Experience managing project budgets, resources planning/management and reporting
•Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across 3rd parties, technical and business product managers
•Strong people leader and relationship manager
•Ability to get industry leading solutions to market efficiently and effectively
•Experience in clarifying objectives, dealingwith ambiguity/under-defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams
•Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
•Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
Great to Have
•A BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
•<Relevant certifications, e.g., PMI, Scrum Master>
•<Infrastructure technologies and components like servers, jvms, databases, and networking concepts>
•<Relevant tools, e.g., software development, portfolio/program/project management, etc)
•<Relevant Industry experience>
